Stop The Drama And Reveal What You Know About The NSS Ghost Names Scandal – Attorney General Dares A-Plus
Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has thrown down the gauntlet to the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, daring him to publicly disclose everything he knows about the National Service Scheme (NSS) ghost names scandal.

At a press briefing held on April 30, 2025, Dr. Ayine urged A Plus to end what he described as “theatrics” and social media posturing, accusing him of making baseless claims against individuals with reputable careers. He challenged the outspoken MP to come forward with any evidence of wrongdoing—particularly allegations of bribery and corruption against him.
“A Plus warned me in his post not to do anything silly and threatened to come after me if I did. That is laughable,” Dr. Ayine remarked. “The only basis for his accusation is that I received campaign support from a businessman known as Dr. Sledge, and that he knows those who donated pickups to my campaign.”
He continued, “If receiving campaign donations or a pickup is considered corruption or theft, then every MP in Parliament, including A Plus himself, is a thief.”
Dr. Ayine firmly declared he has nothing to hide and dared A Plus to either call a press conference to present his so-called evidence or take it to the police for investigation.
In a sharp counter, the Attorney General also turned the spotlight on A Plus, calling on the media to question him about his knowledge of the alleged ghost names scandal at the NSS.
“The media should ask him what the ‘silly thing’ was that frightened him enough to make that ridiculous post about me,” Dr. Ayine said. “He should tell Ghanaians what he knows about the National Service ghost names scandal. If he speaks the truth, Ghanaians will understand his motives.”
Issuing a final warning, Dr. Ayine added, “In my hometown, we don’t run from mudslinging—we confront it. I’m ready to walk into the mud with A Plus. Let him come forward and explain what he knows. I am challenging him today.”
