Joyce Blessing Reveals She’s Receiving Numerous Marriage Proposals From Men

Award-winning gospel singer Joyce Blessing has revealed her openness to love and remarriage, nearly five years after her widely publicized and contentious split from her former husband and manager, Dave Joy.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the musician—known privately as Joyce Akosua Twene—expressed a strong desire to remarry, citing her youth as one of the reasons she still believes in giving love another chance.

Her previous marriage ended in a highly publicized fallout, marked by mutual accusations of infidelity and a widely discussed DNA controversy that fueled media attention. The divorce dealt both personal and professional blows to the Victory hitmaker, including the loss of access to her official Instagram and YouTube accounts, which were controlled by her ex-husband. The former couple share three children.

Despite the setbacks, Joyce Blessing says she remains hopeful and is determined to take a more cautious, spiritually guided approach to any future relationship.

“I’ve learned a lot from my past experiences, and I’m in no rush. Marriage is beautiful, and I want to ensure my next step is guided by wisdom and God’s direction,” she shared.

When asked about her current dating life, the gospel singer kept it private but admitted she receives plenty of romantic attention.

“I’m not ready to talk about that one [my dating life] for now, but I get a lot of proposals from men. If you are a woman and you do not get men approaching you to propose to you, then there may be a problem,” she noted.

Joyce Blessing hinted that while she’s seen as a desirable partner, she’s taking her time to find the right person.
