Veteran Highlife musician and media personality Akosua Agyapong has stirred controversy with her outspoken advice to singles, encouraging them to consider sex before marriage to avoid future disappointments.

In a frank conversation on JoyPrime TV (April 10, 2025), Akosua argued that premarital intimacy plays a key role in relationship compatibility and could help reduce divorce rates and infidelity.

“Fornication happens between consenting adults, but adultery breaks vows and destroys families. Sometimes, we make Christianity so rigid that it becomes difficult to worship God in real life,” she added.
