This declaration follows his recent legal victory in the United States, where a jury awarded him $18 million in a defamation lawsuit against former Ghanaian Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong.

Anas highlighted the significance of the unanimous jury verdict, noting that it underscores the high legal standard for proving defamation in the U.S. He contrasted this outcome with his previous experience in Ghana, where a similar lawsuit against Agyapong was dismissed in 2018.
