Bulldog Declares His Dispute With Nana Addo Is Personal
Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog or Bullgod, has stated that his issue with the former president is personal and cannot be influenced by others.
In recent times, Bulldog has been outspoken in his criticism of Nana Akufo-Addo, even referring to him as ‘nipa fon’ during an interview.
In a recent discussion on Hitz FM, Bulldog revealed that his persistent criticism of the former president stems from the treatment he experienced under the previous government.
He recalled that in 2021, he was taken into custody by NIB operatives after making a comment about Nana Akufo-Addo. He questioned why people take issue with his continued criticism of the former president.
“I don’t understand why people say I’ve been insulting the former president. Those are not insults; they are opinions,” he stated.

“For me and him, my issue is personal. His campaign was mostly about begging, and he had no real message. It’s hard for me to respect someone like that because he does not respect anyone. He doesn’t deserve it, and anyone who thinks otherwise should see things differently,” he added.
Bulldog also criticized Akufo-Addo for displaying contempt toward the people, particularly traditional leaders, which he found unacceptable.
“In front of everyone, telling a sitting chief to stand up before you acknowledge them is disrespectful. Chiefs gathered to meet you at your office—the very office they put you in,” he said.
“For you to go to Akosombo after the flood and say, ‘I don’t know why I’m here; you didn’t vote for me,’ I can’t understand how we are supposed to respect such a person,” he stated.
The outspoken entertainment pundit further remarked, “If you treat someone a certain way, the same will happen to you.”
He also expressed his disappointment, saying he expected better from a former president of such stature.
