Economist Urges Ghana To Rethink Reliance On Foreign Aid
Ghanaian economist Prof. Patrick Asuming has called on the government to redirect funds into critical sectors of the economy. This comes as foreign aid, particularly in health and agriculture, is likely to be cut.
Asuming emphasized that Ghana cannot rely solely on foreign donors to finance essential services. He believes the country has the resources to support itself, but wastage and corruption must be addressed.
