The commissioning ceremony took place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, marking the completion of the project launched by the Diana Hamilton Foundation.
The ‘Perfect God’ singer first announced the initiative in 2021, hosting a fundraising dinner to support its construction. After the sod-cutting in January 2022, the school building was completed in December 2024, following nearly three years of development.
The facility includes five fully furnished classrooms, an office unit for administration, and chairs and tables for all classrooms. The project was carried out in partnership with Adom Group of Companies, showcasing a collective effort towards educational development in the community and the region.
Before the official commissioning, the chiefs and people of Dodo Tamale honored Diana Hamilton by enstooling her as the Nkosuohemaa (Development Queen Mother) for her commitment to community growth. She was given the stool name Nana Hemaa Adwoa Amponsah I as a mark of appreciation for her contributions to education.
Speaking at the event, the celebrated artiste expressed her gratitude to the community for their warm reception and reaffirmed her dedication to supporting educational initiatives across Ghana.
