On Sunday, February 19, 2023, the Perez Dome in Accra hosted the opening act of the well publicized gospel musical extravaganza, “Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton.”
On the evening, performers included the multi-award-winning gospel singer Diana Hamilton as well as Ohemaa Mercy, Joe Mettle, Bernice Panford, Perez Musik, and Celestine Donkor.
These well-known performers completely mesmerized the audience by performing their hit songs back-to-back.
They all gave incredible performances that demonstrated why they were the best options to be listed for such a professionally run gospel event.
Renowned broadcaster Fiifi Folson masterfully emceed the well-attended gospel event.
Elizabeth Ohene, Sam George, Betty Mould Iddrisu, Sammy Gyamfi, Julius Debrah, and other luminaries attended the concert.
All of the attendees who spoke with Ghanaweekend.com after the event praised the singer for organizing such a fantastic occasion.
The second stage of this year’s festival will feature Diana Hamilton, Piesie Esther, Moses OK, ACP Kofi Sarpong, and Ceccy Twum at the Bantama Church of Pentecost in Kumasi on February 26.
The award-winning gospel singer Diana Hamilton established the “Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton,” a concert series including gospel music, in 2014. The first edition was held in Ghana in 2016.
