The General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson, has advised his congregation to prioritize family and work responsibilities over certain church activities.

In a video currently circulating on social media, the prophet is seen speaking passionately to members of his church during a service. In his message, he emphasized the importance of balance and responsibility in the lives of believers.

According to Prophet ElBernard, while church involvement is important, it should not come at the expense of one’s family or livelihood.

“Never choose a church event over your family. Any day, anytime, choose your work over church activities,” he stated.

He explained that God honors responsibility, and believers should not neglect their homes or professional duties in an attempt to appear overly spiritual.

The preacher further noted that work provides sustenance and stability, which in turn enables individuals to support their families and even contribute meaningfully to the church.
