Award-winning gospel musician Joe Mettle has revealed plans to take his gospel concert to a much bigger venue this year, saying he is trusting God to host an event at a stadium.
Joe Mettle made this known during an interview on Hitz FM’s HitzPraiseZone with host Nii Noi, where he spoke about his concerts and the challenges that come with choosing venues.
According to the gospel star, his previous events held at El-Wak Stadium offered a close and intimate atmosphere which many patrons loved. However, he admitted that the location also came with some challenges.
“The El-Wak people love the intimacy,” he said, adding that “at the same time, some people were inconvenienced because there was no space to park their cars.”
Joe Mettle explained that these concerns have influenced discussions around moving to a larger venue that can better accommodate worshippers and their needs.
He noted that hosting an event at a stadium would provide more space, improved access, and greater comfort for attendees, while still maintaining the spirit of worship.
