Marriage Should Be 100%, Not 50/50, Financially Both Partners Must Take Full Responsibility – Archbishop Duncan-Williams
Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has shared his perspective on financial responsibility in marriage, stressing that both partners must be fully committed.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 with Cookie Tee, the respected cleric explained that marriage should not be approached with a “50/50” mindset, especially when it comes to finances. According to him, each partner must be ready to give their all to make the marriage work.

Archbishop Duncan-Williams noted that marriage is a partnership that requires total commitment, not a situation where spouses count who contributes more. He emphasized that financial responsibility in marriage should be shared with a sense of unity and purpose, rather than competition.

He added that when both partners take full responsibility, it strengthens the bond and promotes stability in the home. The Archbishop encouraged couples to see marriage as a joint mission where both husband and wife are committed to supporting each other in every aspect.
