God’s Mercy Saved Anthony Joshua From A Fatal Accident – Pastor Enoch Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said that God’s mercy spared British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua from a deadly road accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Two of Joshua’s associates, Ayodele Kevin and Ghami Sina, sadly lost their lives in the crash.

Speaking during the church’s monthly thanksgiving service at its international headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye described Joshua’s survival as an act of divine mercy.

He revealed that Joshua had switched seats with someone shortly before the accident, and those who took his place died.

“I read in the news that Anthony Joshua changed seats before the accident. The people he swapped with died. I don’t know why, but God’s mercy decided that someone must still be alive,” he said.

Pastor Adeboye added that life, success, and greatness are not achieved by human ability alone but by God’s mercy.

“I am alive not because I am clever, but because of God’s mercy,” he concluded.
