Diana Hamilton Pays Medical Bills For New Moms At Mamobi Hospital
Gospel musician Diana Hamilton demonstrated a profound act of compassion during a visit to Mamobi General Hospital, where she paid the medical bills of new mothers who were unable to leave the facility due to financial challenges. The gesture was part of the celebrations for her children’s birthday on December 9th.

The award-winning singer personally toured the hospital to ensure that mothers who had recently given birth could be discharged without the burden of unpaid medical expenses.
Speaking to the media, Diana revealed that her initiative was inspired not only by empathy but also by her personal connection to the hospital. She shared that she herself was born at Mamobi Polyclinic, making this act a symbolic return to the place where her own journey began.

During her visit, Diana prayed for the mothers, offered words of encouragement, and urged them to raise their children with love, care, and strong moral values grounded in faith.
Reflecting on the significance of the day, she said, “December 9th, 2015, was a blessed day when I welcomed twins into the world. Every year, I make it a point to spend quality time with them, but this year I’m focusing on giving back.”

She continued, “I’m at Mamobi General Hospital helping to cover medical bills for children still in care due to financial constraints. I believe no child should remain in the hospital simply because their family cannot afford to pay. I’ve been able to do similar work in January and March in Sunyani, and I’m grateful to have a friend supporting this year’s project with me.”
