Pastor Andy Osakwe Warns DJs Not to Blend Secular Songs Into Christian Events

Pastor Andy Osakwe has issued a stern warning to DJs who perform at Christian events, advising them to stop blending secular music with gospel selections during church programs.

Addressing youth leaders at a recent gathering, he stressed that Christian events are sacred environments meant for worship, spiritual growth, and alignment with God not spaces for entertainment that mixes opposing messages.

He explained that many believers attend such programs seeking an atmosphere that uplifts their faith, yet the inclusion of secular songs can weaken the spiritual climate and shift attention away from God.

Pastor Osakwe added that even though some DJs may include gospel tracks in their sets, it does not necessarily mean they understand or uphold the spiritual sensitivity required for Christian events.
