Gospel Events Should Always Focus On Jesus – Siisi Baidoo Urges
Gospel musician Siisi Baidoo has urged attendees of gospel events to remain mindful of their behavior, emphasizing that the primary focus should always be on Jesus.
Speaking about instances where fans shower money on artistes during ministrations, Baidoo said such acts should not distract from the true purpose of the gathering.

He shared his thoughts during an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s Changesshow:
“I think that when we go for gospel events, the focus should be Jesus. Anything that tries to take away that focus, we shouldn’t hail it,” he advised.
Although he noted he has not personally witnessed such incidents at events he has attended, Baidoo said he would take immediate action if it happened at his own shows. He explained that the way an event is organized often determines whether fans feel compelled to shower performers with money.
“If someone were to do so unexpectedly, I would speak to my team to understand why it happened. They put a lot of protocols in place, so I’d want to know what really happened,” he said.
The 2025 edition of Siisi Baidoo’s Hollard Splendor Concert is set for Sunday, November 9, at the Accra International Conference Centre, with this year’s theme titled “The Amen: Grace & Glory.
