Ghanaian gospel musician Perez Musik has praised fellow gospel star Joe Mettle, describing him as one of the most influential figures in the Ghanaian music industry today.
Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, Perez Musik said Joe Mettle deserves far more recognition than he currently receives.
According to him, Joe Mettle’s impact goes beyond his music. “We don’t give him the flowers he deserves. Joe Mettle is not just an artiste; he’s a mogul in the industry now,” Perez stated.
He explained that Joe Mettle has played a major role in shaping the gospel music scene in Ghana through his consistency, excellence, and business-minded approach to ministry.
Perez Musik added that Joe Mettle’s achievements should serve as inspiration for other musicians, encouraging them to pursue professionalism and build sustainable careers beyond just performing.
“Joe has set a standard for gospel musicians in Ghana. He’s shown that you can serve God, make great music, and still run your brand like a business,” Perez said.
