There Are Pastors Whose Favorite Ariste Is Shatta Wale Somebody Like Me, I Love Him – Perez Musik
Gospel musician Perez Musik has revealed that many pastors, including himself, are fans of dancehall superstar Shatta Wale.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, Perez Musik shared that it is perfectly normal for gospel ministers and pastors to admire or enjoy secular musicians, emphasizing that music connects people beyond genres.
“There are pastors whose favorite artist is Shatta Wale. Somebody like me, I love him,” Perez said.
He explained that his admiration for Shatta Wale stems from the artist’s authenticity, energy, and ability to influence people through his music and personality. According to him, Shatta’s confidence and determination to rise despite challenges are traits that can inspire anyone, including Christians.
