Buzstopboys Donate Cleaning Tools To Onua Wellness Volunteers To Help Keep Ghana Clean
In a heartwarming show of civic responsibility and teamwork, Buzstopboys, a youth-led group dedicated to keeping Ghana clean, has donated a set of sanitation tools to Volunteers for Onua Wellness (VOW) to support their cleanliness campaigns across the country.
The donation which included five wheelbarrows, ten brooms, shovels, and buckets — was part of the equipment originally presented to Buzstopboys by President John Dramani Mahama. In the spirit of collaboration, the group decided to share these tools with VOW to help boost their community sanitation work.
During a simple but meaningful presentation ceremony, members of both organizations expressed their shared commitment to promoting environmental health and sustainability.
A representative from Buzstopboys commended VOW for their continuous efforts, saying:
“We see your hard work and consistency in making Ghana cleaner and healthier. The challenges are many, but your passion and dedication make a real impact. Keep going.”
Receiving the items, the leader of Volunteers for Onua Wellness thanked Buzstopboys for their thoughtful gesture, adding that the donation would go a long way in supporting their BodyWallet Checkpoint Project an initiative that connects environmental cleanliness with health and financial well-being.
“Your support helps us promote clean environments, good health, and responsible living in our communities. Together, we are building wellness — body, wallet, and environment,” he said.
Buzstopboys continues to stand out as one of Ghana’s most vibrant youth movements for sanitation, known for their volunteer clean-up drives, public education, and community outreach programs aimed at fostering a cleaner, healthier Ghana.
