I Owe My Success To Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah – MOGmusic
Gospel singer and pastor MOGmusic has credited the remarkable growth of his annual New Wine Concert to the unwavering support of Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, Founder and Apostle General of Royalhouse Chapel International.
Speaking on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli on Friday, March 21, 2025, MOGmusic born Nana Yaw Boakye revealed that Rev. Ankrah not only mentored him but also financed the first three editions of the concert when it began in 2015.

“I met Apostle Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, and my service to his vision touched his heart. He told me he would help me. For three straight years when I started New Wine, he single-handedly financed everything. Even the seed money for my first album came from him. I owe my success to Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah,” he recounted.
The Mala hitmaker added that beyond financial backing, Rev. Ankrah poured in prayer, guidance, and discipline, shaping his career and opening doors to greater opportunities.
“He led the way, and obviously, it’s been upward ever since,” MOGmusic noted.
Over the years, MOGmusic has grown into one of Ghana’s celebrated gospel voices, winning the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Male Vocalist of the Year in 2020 and 2021.
