Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye Elected President of GPCC

The leader of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye now serves as the new president of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC).

Professor Paul Frimpong Manso, whose term as president expired on December 7, 2022, is succeeded by Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye.

Apostle Eric Nyamekye was chosen by the council to be the new president of the GPCC during its 2023 Conference of Heads of Churches and Organizations (CHO) and extra-ordinary Delegates Conference held at the Pentecost Convention Centre from January 31 to February 2, 2023.

The news was issued by the council in a statement dated February 3, 2023, and had the general secretary’s signature, Apostle Immanuel N.O. Tettey.
