DOVVSU Director, ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh Visits Ambassador And Gospel Artist Ewura Abena

The Director of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service, ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, has paid a courtesy visit to celebrated gospel singer and DOVVSU Ambassador, Ewura Abena, during her stay in the United Kingdom.

The visit, which highlighted the strong partnership between DOVVSU and its ambassador, was aimed at strengthening collaborations in the fight against domestic violence, gender-based abuse, and the promotion of victims’ rights both at home and abroad.

Ewura Abena, known for her inspiring music and advocacy work, was officially appointed as a DOVVSU Ambassador to help raise awareness through her platform as one of Ghana’s most influential gospel voices. Over the years, she has been vocal about issues affecting vulnerable groups, aligning her ministry with social causes that seek to bring comfort and hope to the afflicted.

During the visit, ACP Kyeremeh commended Ewura Abena for her continuous support and dedication to DOVVSU’s mission. She emphasized the importance of leveraging public figures like Ewura Abena to amplify messages on domestic violence prevention and victim support.
