Founder and leader of the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has launched a strong rebuke at sections of Ghana’s health professionals, accusing them of losing touch with the values of compassion and care that define their profession.

Speaking during a recent sermon, Prophet Oduro lamented what he described as the growing neglect of patients and a lack of empathy in the country’s healthcare system. He expressed disappointment over the experiences of ordinary citizens who are often left unattended in hospitals, sometimes leading to preventable deaths.

“You have lost your humanity,” Prophet Oduro declared, stressing that the medical profession is not just a career but a calling that requires sacrifice, patience, and kindness.

The outspoken preacher further criticized the attitude of some health workers who, according to him, show indifference to the suffering of patients. He urged medical practitioners to remember the sacred responsibility entrusted to them and to treat every patient with dignity and respect.

Prophet Oduro’s remarks come at a time when Ghana’s health sector continues to face widespread criticism over inadequate infrastructure, delays in medical care, and reported cases of negligence. His statement has sparked debate on social media, with many Ghanaians sharing personal stories of frustration in hospitals and others defending the challenges doctors and nurses face due to poor working conditions.
