Minister Yvonne Asamoah releases new video of her song ‘Give Me Rest’ off her ‘FAITH’ album.

Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiahknown professionally as Minister Yvonne, is a supremely talented UK- based Ghanaian Gospel musician, songwritervocalist, and worship leaderwho is rocking the gospel screens in several homes and churches around the world with spirit-engulfed gospel songs.

Minister Yvonne started singing for family and friends in the early 2000s as a hobby. Developing a strong appetite for the creative industry, she began to compete in several music reality shows and modelling to hone her talent. Also, she began writing songs when she was 19 years old. At the time, she was just a member of the church choir who had no idea that one day she would go global with her music.

Before she actively became a music minister, Minister Yvonne moved to the UK after her university education to join the British Armed Forces as HR Specialist. She is a staunch member of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) UK.

In her music journey, she has released the ever spirit filled life changing Album dubbed FAITH in 2022.

The Album contains 8 songs namely “Heal The Land”, “Hyebre Sesafo”, “Give Me Rest”, “Abundance of Grace”,“Shidaa” which features M.O.G MUSIC was released in May 2021. “Conqueror” (released in 2020), award winning “Besuka”, released in July 2020 and the spirit-engulfed “Unchangeable God” released in March 2020. Her songs minister healing, hope, and encouragement.

Aside music, Minister Yvonne is into philanthropic activities. Her foundation, YAT Ministries Foundation has supported some orphanages across UK and Ghana with several deliverables and cash donation. Minister Yvonne’s songs have been listed on the UK Gospel Music Chart for weeks. In August 2020, her Besuka gospel video won the Best International Video of the Year award organised by WWGMVA UK.

She has also received several nominations from major bodies worldwide. She won the UK based Gospel Artist of the year from Ghana Music Awards UK (2021), Best Gospel Song of the Year (2022)and received her first “HONORARY” from Maratha USA Awards as Excellence Song Writer in 2022.
