When God Gives You A Mission, He Provides The Right People – Archbishop Duncan-Williams
Archbishop Nicholas Duncan‑Williams has penned a heartfelt reflection on X (formerly Twitter) after the successful staging of the Global Prayer Works Summit in Accra, Ghana, thanking the intercessors, partners, and believers who stood with him to make the three-day gathering a reality.

Sharing photos from the event, the founder of Action Chapel International wrote that when God entrusts an assignment, He also supplies the people needed to walk the journey. Bringing the Summit to Africa, he noted, required far more than strategy it demanded committed men and women of prayer.
“When God gives you an assignment, He gives you people to walk the path with you… Throughout the three-day summit in Accra, Ghana, we experienced God together. I thank God for everyone who prayed, sowed and believed with us.”
Hosted at Action Chapel’s Prayer Cathedral, the Summit drew thousands in-person and many more online, uniting believers across borders in intense intercession, worship, and teaching. According to the Archbishop, those who participated virtually were just as integral to the move of God as those physically present:
“Whether you joined us at Action Chapel’s Prayer Cathedral or watched from miles away, you were part of something extraordinary.”
He invited followers to “relive the final moments together,” signaling that highlights and key moments from the Summit will continue to be shared to consolidate the spiritual momentum birthed in Accra.
The Global Prayer Works Summit, long associated with mobilizing intercessors and strengthening the global church’s prayer life, marked a significant milestone with its African edition underscoring Duncan‑Williams’ long-standing message that prayer is both the engine and the shield of the believer’s life and ministry.
