“I Faced Sabotage” – Rose Adjei Speaks Out On Challenges In The Gospel Industry
Ghanaian gospel musician Rose Adjei has opened up about the challenges she has faced in the music industry since her breakthrough, revealing shocking experiences of sabotage and jealousy.

In an interview on Hello FM’s Entertainment Review show with Dave Hammer, Rose disclosed that a fellow gospel artist intentionally tried to derail her progress out of envy. She explained that her promotional efforts were deliberately undermined, with the artist spreading false information to DJs and media professionals to prevent her songs from getting airplay.

“It was clearly sabotage,” she stated, noting that the smear campaign led to a noticeable decline in her radio presence at the time. Despite the setbacks, Rose said she stayed committed to her music and chose not to be consumed by bitterness.

She also shared a moment when fellow gospel artist Georgia Adjei acknowledged her unique voice and delivery, even attempting to imitate her style a gesture Rose saw as both a compliment and a reflection of her influence.
