NPP’s Akua Afriyie: Justice Will Prevail, I Won The Election
Nana Akua Owusu Afriyieh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, has expressed confidence that divine justice will prevail in the ongoing electoral rerun.

Despite the NPP’s official decision to boycott the re-run, Nana Akua defied the directive and continued her campaign, insisting she legitimately won the December 2024 election.
“God will let justice prevail. I won this election, but they say they will re-run. The grounds are very wonderful,” she told reporters.
According to official figures, both Afriyieh and Ewurabena Aubynn of the NDC secured 32,464 votes each, prompting a re-run across 19 polling stations, where 6,839 voters are expected to determine the final outcome.
