Pastors Who Sell To Members Are Also Fraudsters – Diana Asamoah
Renowned gospel singer and evangelist Diana Asamoah has openly criticized pastors who sell spiritual items to their congregants, labeling them as fraudsters posing as men of God.

Speaking during a candid radio interview, the outspoken evangelist referenced the recent 15-year prison sentence of former fetish priestess turned evangelist Nana Agradaa, using the case to spotlight what she called the rampant commercialisation of Christianity in Ghana.
Diana Asamoah argued that Agradaa is not alone in exploiting believers, pointing out that many so-called pastors engage in similar practices by selling oils, soaps, candles, and other items under the guise of spiritual deliverance.
“These pastors aren’t serving God they’re running businesses,” she said. “They collect large sums from poor church members and then give back just a little in donations, and people applaud them for being generous.”
She warned both the Ghana Police Service and the public not to be misled by such staged acts of charity, describing them as tactics to manipulate followers while profiting from their faith.
Drawing from her own experience, Asamoah emphasized that her long-standing success in gospel music and ministry has never relied on selling spiritual merchandise.
“I’ve traveled the world and succeeded purely by the grace of God not through selling oils or handkerchiefs,” she affirmed.
