Shatta Wale Urges Ghanaian Youth To Support Mahama Administration
Award-winning dancehall artist Shatta Wale has urged Ghanaian youth to rally behind President John Dramani Mahama’s administration, citing its commitment to youth empowerment and economic progress.
Speaking during his performance at the 2025 President’s Cup on July 6 at the Accra Sports Stadium, Shatta Wale told the crowd, “If you’re a youth and want money in your pocket, support this government it’s here to make that happen. From now until the next election, back this administration.”

He reinforced his message in a social media post, praising the President’s dedication to rewarding hard work and empowering the youth. “Good evening Mr. President. We’re grateful for your commitment to making us part of your vision,” he wrote.
Shatta Wale’s endorsement comes as the Mahama government rolls out new initiatives aimed at job creation and entrepreneurship, placing youth development at the heart of its national agenda.
