The Church Will Continue – Agradaa’s Husband Speaks After Wife’s 15-year Jail Term
Pastor Eric Oduro Asiamah, husband of embattled evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has broken his silence following her 15-year prison sentence with hard labour.

Agradaa, founder of Heaven Way Champion Ministries and a former traditional priestess, was convicted by the Accra Circuit Court on charges of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence. The case centred around a televised event during which she promised to double congregants’ money an act that allegedly led to significant financial losses among her followers.

In his public statement after the ruling, Pastor Asiamah claimed the sentencing was largely influenced by complaints made after an all-night church service held three years ago, insisting that the accusations were based on offertory collected during that event.
“What happened was a standard offertory,” he said. “Giving during church programmes is a common practice. Nothing about that night was out of the ordinary or deceptive.”
Pastor Asiamah firmly denied the fraud allegations and urged their congregation and sympathisers not to lose faith. He described the legal battle as a test of faith and called on believers to remain prayerful.
“We believe that everything happens for a reason,” he said. “This, too, is part of God’s divine plan. We ask all believers to continue praying with us.”
Despite the heavy sentence, Pastor Asiamah maintained that the church would continue to operate and that their mission was far from over.
