A young corporate employee in Accra has shared his ordeal after revealing that his monthly net salary of GH¢3,000 is insufficient to meet basic needs.

He disclosed that he cannot afford essentials like a fridge or wardrobe, struggles with transportation and food expenses, and is unable to support his family.

The financial strain has led to a mental breakdown, prompting plans to resign by December. He also warned others about how corporate jobs can exploit workers, likening the experience to being treated as “modern-day slaves.”
Following the viral circulation of the video in which he made these revelations, the company’s management after seeing the footage decided to terminate his employment.
