According to the event team, Black Sherif’s management initially agreed to a GH¢300,000 fee but demanded an extra GH¢50,000 just an hour before his set.
“We paid GH¢300,000, and they still refused to perform until an additional GH¢50,000 was discussed for over an hour,” organiser Mutombo revealed.
Another organiser, YB, added on YFM that the team also complained about the stage setup, claiming it didn’t meet their standards although production requirements weren’t specified in the contract.
“They had issues with the stage quality. It wasn’t up to their expectations,” YB explained.
