“My Money Is Clean” – Shatta Wale Hits Back At Fraud Allegations
Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has hit back at critics linking him to fraudulent activity following reports that FBI agents have arrested some of his close associates, including one Kofi Boat, over alleged cyber fraud.

In a viral video making rounds online, the self-proclaimed dancehall king vehemently denied any involvement in fraud, asserting that his wealth is legitimate and earned through his music career.
“My money is clean,” he declared. “Because your industry artists and favourites can’t buy the things I buy, you think I’m doing fraud?”

Shatta Wale’s reaction comes in the wake of allegations made by social media commentator Albert Nat Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bongo suggested that Shatta Wale may come under increased scrutiny from authorities due to his relationship with Kofi Boat.
“Following the reported arrest of Kofi Boat by the FBI, it is believed that musician Shatta Wale may face intense scrutiny due to their friendship,” Bongo stated, further claiming that Shatta Wale’s recently acquired mansion and high-end cars could potentially be investigated if any links are established.
