Renowned Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has shared a heartening update on his recovery following the brutal attack that nearly cost him his sight.

The beloved Angel FM presenter, who has kept a low profile since the Dormaa incident, recently posted a serene video on TikTok, showing him alone in a scenic U.S. park at sunset. The peaceful clip, interpreted by fans as a symbol of hope and healing, shows Kofi seated quietly, dressed in a flannel jacket, colourful shirt, dark sunglasses, and walking unaided—a moment that brought relief and joy to many.
Just days earlier, Kofi broke months of silence in an emotional interview with close confidant Magraheb on Kofi TV, revealing his eyesight has been “almost fully restored” after several surgeries. He recounted waking up with a swollen face, severe pain in his jaw and head, and deep body aches. “I couldn’t chew meat,” he said, “but thankfully, the pain has eased.”
Kofi expressed deep gratitude to Ghanaian business mogul Ibrahim Mahama, who personally funded several surgeries, and his employer Dr. Kwaku Oteng, CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network, for unwavering support. He also thanked the many Ghanaians who reached out, prayed, and stood by him throughout his recovery.
