Ghanaian gospel artist and preacher Sonnie Badu has shared a heartfelt response to the recovery and return of Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang after her recent health scare.

Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has returned to Ghana in good health and high spirits after receiving medical treatment in the United Kingdom following an illness she suffered on March 28, 2025.

Her arrival was met with warm welcomes, including a heartfelt message from renowned Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu. Posting to Instagram on May 23, 2025, Badu thanked God for what he described as a miraculous recovery.

“Thank You, Jesus! Affliction shall not rise a second time. Mummy is back! Thank You, Jesus,” he wrote, drawing hundreds of supportive comments from well-wishers.

The ‘Baba’ singer went on to encourage the Vice President to prioritize her health, writing:

Upon her arrival at Kotoka International Airport on Thursday, May 22, 2025, Vice President Opoku-Agyemang was warmly received by President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama.
