If I Were President, I Would Have Immediately Dismissed Sammy Gyamfi — Kennedy Agyapong
Outspoken Ghanaian politician and businessman, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has launched a scathing critique of the Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, over a monetary gift made to controversial figure Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa. The amount, reportedly in foreign currency, has sparked public outcry.
Speaking at Central University, Agyapong made it clear he strongly disagreed with President John Mahama’s decision to pardon Sammy Gyamfi over the incident. Instead, he argued that Gyamfi should have been made an example of to deter similar conduct among public officials.
“If I were President, I would have dismissed him in seconds,” Agyapong declared, calling the act an “unpardonable lapse in judgment.” He emphasized that leadership must uphold accountability and not tolerate actions that compromise public trust.
