I Told Cheddar He Can’t Succeed Without Backing From A Political Party — Archbishop Agyinasare
Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder and leader of Perez Chapel International, revealed that he told Nana Kwame Bediako—also known as Cheddar and leader of the New Force—that winning the 2024 election without the backing of a political party would be impossible.
According to Archbishop Agyinasare, Cheddar acknowledged this reality and understood the challenges ahead. The Archbishop said he felt compelled to pray for Bediako, as running for office was his personal ambition.

He further noted that the New Force was even barred from placing representatives at polling stations, which made it difficult to properly oversee the election process.
Speaking on Joy Prime, Archbishop Agyinasare said, “Nana Kwame Bediako was running for president. I had an honest conversation with him and said, ‘Look, you don’t have a political party. You can’t win an election in Ghana without one. But since this is your dream, I’ll pray with you.’”
He added, “He understood that winning wasn’t realistic. He was even blocked from having polling agents, and without them, how can you monitor the vote? Still, it was admirable that he made the effort.”
