AI Will Soon Take Over Churches If Christians Don’t Rise Up – Sonnie Badu Raises Alarm
Gospel musician and preacher Sonnie Badu has raised a strong warning to the global Christian community about the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential threat to spiritual institutions.
In a thought-provoking message shared on social media, the “Baba” hitmaker expressed concern that unchecked advancements in AI could eventually challenge the authority of God and replace sacred elements of worship and church leadership with artificial systems. “Artificial Intelligence will contend with God, and very soon they’ll say God is no longer needed,” Badu warned.

He emphasized the urgent need for spiritual vigilance, stressing that while technology is beneficial, there must be a balance to ensure that it does not overshadow or eliminate the spiritual foundation of the Church.
According to Sonnie Badu, the rise of AI calls for “the sons of God” to take up their spiritual positions and guard against the growing influence of man-made intelligence in sacred spaces. “If we don’t rise, soon even church temples will be taken over by AI,” he declared.
He concluded his message with a biblical call to discernment: “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying.”
Badu’s remarks have sparked conversations among believers and church leaders alike, urging many to reconsider the intersection of faith and technology in an increasingly digital world.
