Celebrated Ghanaian gospel artiste Piesie Esther has encouraged up-and-coming gospel musicians to prepare mentally and spiritually for the challenges that come with the music industry.

Speaking to Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli on The Changes Show, the Mo hitmaker stressed that determination and a deep reverence for God are key traits that many in the younger generation of gospel musicians seem to lack.

“In this industry, you need to be strong and hold firmly to God. When you follow His will, He will take care of your needs. But if you are not tough, you won’t be able to survive,” she cautioned.

With over two decades of experience, Piesie Esther shared that she has faced both uplifting moments and difficult controversies but has remained steadfast and focused on her calling.

“I’ve gone through a lot, but God has brought me this far. Sometimes, the way some people treat you makes you feel like you don’t belong. But when you are certain of where you’re headed, you won’t let anyone distract you,” she said.
