You Gave Me Money But Now You Ignore Me – Portable Confronts Burna Boy

Nigerian singer Portable has publicly called out Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, claiming the superstar gave him money but has since ignored his calls and messages.

In a recent video making rounds on social media, Portable expressed his disappointment, saying that despite Burna Boy’s generous financial gift, he feels snubbed due to the lack of communication afterward.

“You gave me money, but you no dey pick my call again. You no dey reply my message. Why?” Portable lamented in the video.

The outspoken street-hop artist, known for his controversial statements, also hinted at feeling used, alleging that some big names in the industry only reach out to him when it suits them, but disappear once the spotlight fades.

While Portable didn’t reveal the exact amount Burna Boy gave him, the outburst has sparked conversation among fans, with some defending Burna Boy’s right to maintain his space, while others sympathized with Portable’s desire for continued support and mentorship.

As of now, Burna Boy has not responded to the claims.
