You Cannot Shorten The Name Of Jesus And Still Expect Your Prayers To Be Answered — Victoria Orenze
Christian artist and preacher Victoria Orenze recently delivered a powerful message on social media, advising her followers against shortening the name of Jesus in their prayers. She boldly stated that people “can’t abbreviate the name of Jesus and expect to receive answers.”

In a widely shared Instagram video, Orenze specifically highlighted the growing use of “IJN” (commonly understood as “In Jesus’ Name”) as a prayer shortcut. She warned that such abbreviations could come with a spiritual cost, urging her audience to consider the sincerity of their faith.
“So we abbreviate… we abbreviate the name of Jesus. IJN. Then you will say your prayer is not answered,” she explained in the video. She then went on to emphasize the immense power contained in the full name of Jesus Christ.
