According to Ceccy Twum, certain individuals often described as “gatekeepers” in the gospel space choose favorites and decide who gets support, exposure, and opportunities. She noted that these influential figures tend to help only the artistes they prefer, leaving many others sidelined despite their talent.

But Ceccy stressed that such favoritism does not intimidate her.
“Whether you sabotage me or not, I don’t care,” she said, explaining that her focus has always been on God’s purpose for her life, not human approval. She added that she has never depended on industry politics to succeed, and continues to thrive because of divine grace and her commitment to her calling.
Her remarks have reignited conversations about fairness, transparency, and power dynamics in the gospel music industry—issues many artistes have complained about over the years.
