When Things Get Better, Don’t Waste Money On Big Wedding – Duncan-Williams Tells Couples
Founder and Presiding Archbishop of Action Chapel International, Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has cautioned couples against throwing lavish weddings once their financial situation improves.

Speaking to his congregation, the respected cleric explained that many men fall into unnecessary debt just to fund extravagant ceremonies that do not add real value to marriage.
“Most of the time, men borrow money just to impress people with a big wedding. But when you finally get it right in life, don’t waste your money on that,” he advised.
According to him, true marriage is built on understanding, commitment, and God’s blessing—not on how much is spent on a wedding celebration.

He encouraged couples to focus on building strong homes and investing in their future rather than exhausting resources on one-day events.

The Archbishop’s message has since sparked discussions online, with many agreeing that financial prudence is key to sustaining marriages in today’s challenging economy.
