Video surfaces showing how Kofi Adomah was shot
On January 16, 2025, news broke that Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster Kofi Adomah had accidentally suffered a gunshot wound to his face, following a Facebook post by his colleague, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady.
Further investigation by 3News confirmed that the media personality was flown to Dubai for treatment, though the exact timing of the incident remained unclear.
A week later, a video has surfaced showing how he sustained the gunshot wound to his face.

Kofi TV, his Facebook channel page, posted a video of the incident on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, clearly showing how he was shot.
In the video, Kofi was positioned on the left side of the person holding the musket. The gunman, attempting to shoot into the air, failed to raise the gun properly and accidentally shot Kofi in the face, exposing him to the gunpowder.
Miracle Adomah, the wife of broadcast journalist Kofi Adomah, later provided an update on his health following reports of the shooting incident.
In a Facebook post, Miracle shared that her husband is in stable condition and expressed her gratitude to all the well-wishers.
