Veteran Gospel Artiste, Esther Smith Arrives in Ghana with Huge Excitement
On August 12, 2024, Esther Smith, the legendary Ghanaian gospel music phenomenon, landed at Accra, Ghana’s Kotoka International Airport, sparking the start of an eagerly awaited musical trip.
The famed singer, renowned for her inspirational words and beautiful voice, is scheduled to play live in Kumasi and Accra. Her performances are sure to leave a lasting impression on worshippers.

During her brief interview with the media at the airport, Esther—a mainstay of Ghanaian gospel music for more than 20 years—expressed her delight about getting back in touch with her Ghanaian followers. Thousands of worshippers and music enthusiasts are expected to attend her concerts, which are set for Sunday, August 25, at Bantama Pentecost in Kumasi, and Friday, August 30, at the Perez Dome in Accra.
The concerts will feature a dynamic lineup of performances, including Esther’s classic hits, new compositions, and special guest appearances by some of the top names in gospel music.
Fans can look forward to powerful performances by Mark Anim, Emens, Adom Kiki, Nana Yaw Asare, Becky Bonney, Diana Hammond, Kweku Teye, Minstrel Maadwoa, Paa Sammy, Joyce Blessing, Randy Agyemang, Oware Junior, Morris Babyface, Minister Lady Prempeh, Stella Precious, Dorcas Appiah, Mister OJ, Noble Nketia, and Ps Joe Beechem.
The cost of tickets is GH₵ 50 for ordinary, GH₵ 90 for double, and GH₵ 150 for VIP at the Perez Dome, Silverbird Cinemas Accra Mall, YFM Legon City Mall, and Global Media Alliance. Tickets may be purchased at these locations.
