US Vice President Kamala Harris Arrives In Ghana For 3Days Official State Visit
Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States of America (USA), has landed in Ghana to begin a three-day visit to the West African country.
Ms Harris arrived at Kotoka International Airport at midday on Sunday, March 26th.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and hundreds of Ghanaians waving small Ghana and American flags greeted her.
The visit by Kamala Harris is planned to build on the recent U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit convened by President [Joe] Biden in Washington in December 2022.
The trip is also intended to improve US ties throughout Africa and to promote our joint efforts on security and economic growth.

The US Vice President will meet with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other government officials while in Ghana.
Discussions will emphasize on regional and global problems such as democracy, long-term economic growth, food security, and the consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war.
The Vice-President of the United States will develop people-to-people relations and interact with civil society, especially young leaders, business representatives, entrepreneurs, and African Diaspora members.
While in the nation, she plans to visit the Cape Coast castle. Following her three-day visit in Ghana, she will go to Tanzania and Zambia.
