Kudus delivered a strong performance during his 63 minutes on the pitch before making way for Brennan Johnson. His dynamic display caught the attention of his new manager.
Speaking after the final whistle, Frank expressed his satisfaction with the 24-year-old Ghanaian’s performance, noting several standout qualities. He said:
“I thought he was excellent today his hold-up play, composure on the ball, and ability to operate in tight spaces really stood out. His one-on-one skills and creativity in the final third were exceptional.”
Frank also praised Kudus’s relentless work ethic and his contribution to both attack and defense:
“Beyond that, he put in a tremendous shift for the team. He’s going to thrill fans with his attacking flair, but what’s equally impressive is his willingness to track back and support defensively.”
Kudus will be looking to maintain this impressive form when Spurs face Newcastle United on Sunday, before wrapping up their pre-season campaign with a high-profile clash against Bayern Munich.

The Ghana international recently joined Tottenham from West Ham in a £55 million move, making him the most expensive Ghanaian footballer in history.
