TikToker ‘GH Kobby’ Allegedly Murders Girlfriend In Yeji
Hayford Boateng, known as TikTok star GH Kobby, has been arrested in Yeji (Pru East District, Bono East Region) after reportedly shooting his girlfriend, Philipa Yaa Baby, also known as YaaBaby or Shuga, in the left arm on June 10, 2025.
She later died at St. Martin’s Hospital. According to eyewitnesses and media reports, GH Kobby pulled a firearm loaded with live rounds from his car and fired a warning shot that tragically struck YaaBaby.
Two friends who were with him have also been detained as police investigate whether the incident was truly accidental While some close to GH Kobby, including local entertainer Portfolio DJ, maintain he was “too soft” to mean harm, the community’s emotional response hesitant to label it ritualistic but deeply suspicious has sparked widespread attention
