Thomas Partey has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, involving incidents allegedly committed against three women between 2021 and 2022.

The 32-year-old footballer denies all allegations. He joined Arsenal in 2020 for £45 million and departed the club after his contract expired on Monday.

Partey is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on August 5. He was initially arrested in July 2022 but remained unnamed and continued playing for Arsenal during the investigation.
