Thomas Partey Pleads Not Guilty To Rape Charges
Former Arsenal star Thomas Partey has denied allegations of raping two women and sexually assaulting a third.
The Ghanaian international pleaded not guilty to five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault during an appearance at Southwark Crown Court.

The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between 2021 and 2022, a period when the 32-year-old was a regular in the Premier League. Partey was formally charged just four days after leaving Arsenal, following the expiration of his contract at the end of June.

He was granted bail and is expected to stand trial at the same court starting 2 November next year. During the hearing, Partey confirmed his name before entering his not-guilty plea on each charge.
Now playing for Spanish side Villarreal, Partey was already in England as his new club faced Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Tuesday. He came off the bench in the match, which Villarreal lost 1-0.

Under his bail conditions, Partey is free to continue playing football but must notify police of any international travel at least 24 hours in advance and is prohibited from contacting the complainants.
