This Is The Time We Call For More Intercessors To Stand In The Gap For Our Nation – Prophet Brian Amoateng
Following the devastating helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and several others, Prophet Brian Amoateng has taken to Instagram to express deep sorrow and issue a heartfelt call for unity, intercession, and compassion.

The Founder of Brian Jones Ministries urged Ghanaians to resist the urge to criticize prophets during this period of national mourning, emphasizing instead the need to come together as a nation and seek divine intervention.
“I personally think this is not the time to criticise Prophets,” Prophet Amoateng stated. “The truth is, Ghana is super blessed with genuine and sincere Prophets. This is the time for us to come together and stand for one cause.”
Describing the crash as a moment of national crisis and spiritual urgency, he called on fellow believers and religious leaders to rise in prayer and intercession on behalf of the country.

“This is the time we call for more intercessors to stand in the gap for our dear nation. Something is definitely not right somewhere. Let us love one another and let’s arise and intercede for mother Ghana,” he pleaded.
Prophet Amoateng also emphasized that this was not the moment for comparison or spiritual competition among prophetic voices.
“This is not about who is a major prophet or minor prophet, this is not about who saw it first or who was accurate, this is not about any denomination. This is about what can we do to call for MERCY FOR GHANA.”
He concluded his message with a prayerful appeal to God:
“Dear Lord, show us YOUR MERCY if we have sinned against You and forgive us our sins.”
His message has resonated widely across social media, where many have echoed the call for unity, prayer, and national healing during one of the most difficult weeks in Ghana’s recent history.
